The official rules for TRIvia follow. 

INSTRUCTIONS  (See changes below)

• The three parts of the TRIvia question is posted every Tuesday at noon Pacific time, unless posted otherwise, on the Spades and Pawns (S&P) website (www.spadesandpawns.com).  Registration for the game is open at any time.
• The contest is free!  However, you are required to be a registered guest of S&P to play and win prizes.  If you are registered for another gaming event at S&P, you are automatically registered for all gaming events, including TRIvia, at S&P.    
• The answer to Question 1 (Answer 1) will be part of Question 2.  The answer to Question 2 (Answer 2) will be part of Question 3.  The answer to Question 3 (Answer 3) is the answer that is then to be submitted to S&P.
• You will not be given Answer 1 or Answer 2 (a) until someone submits Answer 3 or (b) if and when Answer 3 has not been submitted within twenty-four hours of revealing the three questions.  If condition (b) occurs, Answer 1 will be revealed and submissions will continue to be accepted.  If no one submits Answer 3 after twenty-four hours of revealing Answer 1, Answer 2 will be revealed and submissions will continue to be accepted.  If no one submits Answer 3 within twenty-four hours of revealing the Answer 2, the contest for the week will be closed without a winner.
• You may submit only one entry per each twenty-four period the contest is held per week.  For example, you may submit one entry on the first day, one entry on the second day if no one submits Answer 3 on the first day, and one entry on the third day if no one submits Answer 3 on the second day.
• You may win a TRIvia prize only once within a thirty-day period.

REGULATIONS

• The announced prize will be given to the first person who submits Answer 3.
• The submission period is closed when so announced on the S&P website.  S&P will attempt to post such a notice as soon as possible after a winning submission has been received.  However, S&P makes no commitment with regards to the length of such time period.
• S&P reserves the right to cancel the contest at any time except during a submission period.
• S&P reserves the right to change the rules and regulations of this contest except during a submission period.  Players will be alerted to any such changes for at least one week after the posted change by bold highlights within the official rules posting.
• S&P reserves the right to be the sole and final arbiter of any disputes concerning TRIvia.
• Employees of S&P and the sponsors of TRIvia and the parents, grandparents of any generation, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, spouses, or household members of these employees are ineligible to play or win this contest.
• This game is not to be associated with gambling or the promotion of gambling.
• All submissions are the property of Spades and Pawns.
• Winning players will be notified by electronic mail.  Winners will have thirty days from the notification date to supply valid identification.
• Winning players agree to the use of their names and likenesses by S&P for marketing purposes without additional compensation.
• Players agree to hold S&P employees and sponsors of TRIvia harmless from costs, liability, damages, and injuries from participation in TRIvia.
• Players agree that S&P are not responsible for defects, damages, and losses in mail or electronic submissions and communications or caused by actions of third parties who tamper with the game or machines, devices, and equipment used to conduct the game.
• Taxes and fees and the reporting of such are the sole responsibilities of the players.
